We are based in Tuscany, we are locals! Tuscany is the region where we were born and where we live. We have a thorough knowledge of the “Bel Paese”. We have various types of trekking nearby Vecchio Mulino and Villa:

• Starting from Il Vecchio Mulino up to Radicondoli Distance 14 km (Full Day, 5 hours walk – lunch not included)
• Starting from Radicondoli distance 7 km (Half day, 3 hours), with meeting in Radicondoli.
• Starting from the Abbey of San Galgano, a 5 km journey (Half Day, 3 hours – including visit to the Abbey).
• 2 routes around Monteriggioni 7 or 11 km (Half Day, 3 hours / Full Day, 6 hours – including visit to the country). Trekking is also organized on your request, we design the tour that best suits your needs.
• San Gimignano & Monteriggioni – towers and vineyardsSet in spectacular surroundings, the ancient towns of San Gimignano and Monteriggioni are the best examples of Medieval towns in Italy. They are famous for the well preserved Medieval towers and walls. These impressive structures survived the centuries and are still standing today.
  The rolling hills surrounding these hill towns are one of the most harmonious landscapes of Tuscany. The centuries-old cultivation of olives and the local wine known as Vernaccia have given this area an incomparable identity.

  In the hills around Siena you can:

  walk the vineyards of Vernaccia di Sangimignano.
  hike through the heart of Medieval Tuscany.
  cross undulating farmlands, pass hamlets, castles and Romanesque abbeys.
  discover a landscape that has not changed since the Middle Ages.
  admire the rural landscape shaped by the so called “Poderi“.

Daniele Cavazzoni

Daniele got a Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences in 2009. Shortly after, he started working abroad as a nature guide for an international tour operator. He has been leading groups in diverse areas of the world, from the Indian Ocean (as snorkeling instructor) to the African savannah (as safari guide). Everywhere he travels his binocular follows him since he’s a passionate and keen birdwatcher.
Since ever, his innate passion for nature has been guiding him to explore all the Italian regions on foot.
He currently works as a hiking guide in Tuscany: an incredible opportunity to transmit his passion to others. He likes sharing the pleasure of exploration and the continuous discovery of new places.
Daniele is a route designer for an international company too: he assists travelers from all over the world in their walking holidays through Tuscany.
In 2014 he obtained the title of Athletic Instructor, which entitled him to work with sport companies and lead summer camps for kids.
Last but not least he works on the family farm producing the famous Tuscan “pecorino” sheep’s milk cheese!
